February 2017 Newsletter

Dear Webmasters:

Purim is less than a month away, and the URJ has plenty of content to get your congregation ready to celebrate, including articles, recipes and blog posts from ReformJudaism.org. To start posting URJ Purim content on your site, please follow these instructions on how to set up article feeds from ReformJudaism.org

Additionally, Purim print and digital bulletin ads are now available for download! Use these pre-designed ads for your congregation's newsletter or bulletin (print or email) and on your website or Facebook page. These files and more are available in The Tent.

I am currently working on a new resource guide for Passover. This content will be easily embeddable into an article on your site and should be ready for release in a few weeks.

Have you switched to one of our mobile responsive templates yet? Choose one of four newer mobile friendly templates (aleph, bet, gimel and dalet) and we'll take care of the conversion for you. The new template will keep all of your content in place, but with a new look and feel. After you choose a template, we will create a test version of your home page so that you can preview your site's new look before proceeding. If you are interested, please email me.

Please help me congratulate those congregations who have gone live recently.

Kol Hakavod to the new sites!

Quick Tips

How to Move Media Files

Looking to do a little spring-cleaning and organize your media files? Use the JCE file browser to move files from one folder to another with ease.

Did You Know?

Registration is Now Open for Birthright Israel
Spread the word to your congregation's young adults! They may qualify for a free, 10-day trip to Israel with URJ Kesher. Use print ads and web/social media/email banners for your upcoming mailings and communications to make sure they know about the opportunity and how to sign up.

Promote Your Congregation's Community Seder on ReformJudaism.org
Get your Passover community seder added to the ReformJudaism.org calendar! We'll be promoting a link to events open to the community throughout the next two months.

The URJ Offers Many Great Opportunities

You can also add your own congregation's events to the URJ.org calendar. Any even that is open to the community is eligible. Submit here »

Staying in Touch

We are challenged in reaching current webmasters due to high turnover and changes in email addresses. If you are receiving this email, you are the person who was reported to the URJ to be handling your congregation's website. If there are additional people who need to be on this list or if you need to get off this list, please send corrected information to datamgmt@urj.org.
