I am happy to announce we are just weeks away from the completion of all website upgrades. We are finishing up the final few live sites and then will move on to sites still in development (if you are in development and your plans have changed, let me know). Once completed, updates to components and core systems will be performed much more efficiently.
For the final part of this phase, we will soon begin "template sanitizing." This is the process of removing unwanted and unauthorized files from the sites. You may notice your sites are oversaturated with articles, modules and images from the original template. This is necessary as it will a) clean up your sites and provide you with more server space; and b) remove content that doesn't belong to your congregation. In the next few weeks, if you notice unpublished content disappear, do not be alarmed. If for some reason you are using the content that came with the original template, you will want to start replacing it now.
We are also finalizing the new custom, mobile-friendly templates that you may choose to adopt for your site. Previews should be ready by the middle of July.
Please help me congratulate those congregations who have gone live recently.
Kol Hakavod to the new sites!

Staying in Touch
We are challenged in reaching current webmasters due to high turnover and changes in email addresses. If you are receiving this email, you are the person who was reported to the URJ to be handling your congregation's website. If there are additional people who need to be on this list or if you need to get off this list, please send corrected information to firstname.lastname@example.org.
