To add a CNAME record in GoDaddy, review this tutorial or follow these steps:
1. Log in to your GoDaddy account
2. Navigate to DNS Management
- Click on My Products from the menu
- Locate the domain you want to update
- Click DNS next to it
3. Add a CNAME record
- Scroll down to the Records section
- Click Add to create a new record
- From the Type dropdown, select CNAME
4. Enter CNAME details
- Host: Enter the subdomain you want to use
- Points to: Enter the destination
5. Save the record
- Click Save to apply the changes
- Wait for DNS propagation
To add a CNAME record in Network Solutions, review this tutorial (under Host Aliases (CNAME Records)) or follow these steps:
1. Log in to Network Solutions
2. Access the DNS settings
- In your Account Manager, select My Domain Names
- Click on the domain name you want to update
- Look for Manage Domain or Edit DNS
3. Add CNAME record
- Scroll down to Advanced DNS Records
- Find the CNAME (Alias) Records and click Edit CNAME Records
4. Enter CNAME details
- Host: Enter the subdomain
- Points to: Enter the target domain
5. Save your changes
