Good question! I'd like to know the answer as well.

FollowTemplate Sanitizing
Following this month's newsletter regarding deleting the unpublished content, how do you discriminate between our congregation's content and the initial template's one? There is some unpublished content that we want to keep because it is seasonal. Thanks to let me know.

Hi Laurence,
We are writing custom scripts which will address this issue. The scripts will look for modules and articles from the original template which have not been changed. We will look for them by modified date. Most of the modules we are removing are ones which contain dummy content and where placeholders from previous versions of the template. Your custom content should remain untouched. Finally, we will be removing select images and files which came with the original template and which pose copyright issues. In the worse case scenario, if you are still using images from the original template one or two might go missing from a slideshow but as whole everything should remain intact. Hope that helps
I still don't get the monthly newsletter.
Everything did not remain intact. I had at least 2 modules that were removed.
It has been said before but I guess we need to keep howling at the moon. Stop screwing around production servers when you have no idea what will happen. Our websites are a main communication tool to our members and potential members.
