Dear Webmasters:

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is key to improving your website's visibility by making it easier for search engines (like Google or Bing) to find your site. Review this tutorial to see why it's so important, and how you can increase your own site's SEO. RJ Web Builder uses a tool called Yoast SEO to assist in making your site more search engine friendly.

Creating content for your website is all about providing valuable information for your audience. When adding content, follow these seven tips for readable, shareable, and accessible content. If you are posting content using the Themify Builder, here are some additional best practices.

If you experience issues when using the RJ Web Builder calendar plugin, please review this important calendar update from this past summer.

Purim is right around the corner, starting March 23. The URJ has many articles, recipes, and blog posts from ReformJudaism.org to help you plan your Purim programming. You can include links to this content on your website or social media account, as well as repost it online or in your bulletin with a link and attribution.

The URJ offers ecards if you want to send a Purim message to congregants. There are a few different cards to choose from and you can customize them with a video or recipe.

Reminder: the Tent is now hosted on a new platform, Mighty Networks. If you have yet to sign up, go to the new platform, click "Request to Join," and follow the prompts. Don't forget to use the new Commincations group and the RJ Web Builder group to share resources, ask questions and connect with other webmasters.

Please help me congratulate the congregations whose sites have recently gone live via RJ Web Builder 3.0 (a full list is on the help site):

Beth Chaim Congregation of Contra Costa County, Danville, CA
Naples Jewish Congregation, Naples, FL
Beth Israel - The West Temple, Cleveland, OH
Temple Israel, Columbus, OH

What is a Hard Refresh and Why Perform One?
It's important to do a hard refresh when reviewing changes on your website so that you can see the latest version and avoid caching issues.
